Steering Wheel Upgrade
I rececntly upgraded the steering wheel on my CL55. Since the S55 uses the same steering wheel I thought I would post this here as well since this is a cross compatible part between the CL and S .
After seeing T-Bones RennTech steering wheel on his W211 E55 I decided I needed one too !
I missed the wood / leather steering wheel that was on my 2001 CL and the RennTech wheel not only adds the wood but also has an awesome perforated leather sport grip and a slightly smaller diameter due to the rim thickness.

Nice steering wheels aren't cheap..... The one pictured was approx $1500 and that was at a discount.
Kleemann and Brabus wheels are even more.
The best "Bang for the Buck" is the AMG F1 safety car steering wheel, however, it doesn't have wood and is not as thick in the grip areas. I beleive the AMG F1 wheels runs approx $1000.
For pictures of all three wheels, see: https://mbworld.org/forums/showthrea...threadid=59398
