Glad to finally join mbworld! Even tho it was for a sad reason
Hey whatsup everyone im new to the site and im the proud owner of a 2003 s55 amg v8 kompressor , honestly the reason i joined the site sad to say is because recently ive been having major issues with my baby and was hoping maybe someone had insight , for some reason everytime the supercharger tries to engage it pops a fuse (loacted in engine bay infront of passenger seat) the whole care turns off the car cant turn back on until fuse is replaced and than again same issue will occur , ive replaced CPS(crank position sensor) aswell as ignition coils and supercharger pulley bearing and still having the same problem. So current have the supercharger unplugged and driving the car on just the motor. Please if anyone has and insights , or opinions or theories let me know it will be geeatly appreciated . Thank you
Welcome to MBWorld. She's a beauty, but sorry to hear of the internal issues. Post your question on the w220 subforum and hopefully you'll get some closure.
If you ever have any lighting needs after you address the supercharger issue, let us know!

Nobody will be able to help you without knowing the exact fuse location number.
Yea thats what im starting to think , but cant seem to find the part to order. Whenever i try to find the sc clutch only thing that i keep finding is the sc pulley does anyone have a part number on the clutch itself ?
i didnt know wether or not this part number 1130980040 was the clutch or just the pulley , my mechanic Informed me its the s/c clutch so just want to make sure that is infact the clutch and not just the pulley before i order it. because i figured the clutch was the big black hockey puck looking thing behind the s/c pulley ?and as for the fuse number i dont know how to identify it properly because i dont have the fuse diagram , but its a fuse in the engine bay infront of the passengers seat side [if im not mistaken i think my mechanic called it fuse 10] thank you all for the help i will try to provide a fuse number somehow , or atleast upload a photo pointing out whoch fuse it is
And as for the fixed supercharger pulley idea , i figured the same thing but than was recomended to not attempt it until i get the supercharger and car running back to normal as it causes the supercharger to stay engaged and may result in damage to motor (especially since my car is turning itself off everytime the supercharger engages)
