I still do have a very rare issue with pressing start and the starter will click like it's tryin to start but the starter is stuck.. you can hear the starter almost try to move but it's like it's too big of a load.. anyway I'm thinking that's just the starter going.. they are $200 or so for a remanufactured Bosch so I may just replace that vs getting stranded some where down the road
Make sure the battery connectors are tight and clean mating surface.

Thanks I actually just replaced the battery last weekend with a brand new MB battery and they are plenty tight.. my new Bosch starter will be here tomorrow and installed on Wednesday. I'm thinking that because the starter itself is clicking that's telling me it's getting signal so it's most likely the starter. I know some say the EIS, but I wouldn't think the EIS would send signal to the starter and instantly stop it..

You can try banging on the starter with a hammer, as caveman as it seems, but if there is a dead spot in the starter most of the time you can get it to crank. This will confirm if it really is the starter.

I've had good luck with that on other cars but the issue is, this happens randomly and rarely so one day I'll jump in and hit the button and the starter will click or make one revolution but really slow like it has a huge load and then stop. Radio and everything else will be on and fine, I'll have to press the button again to turn the car off and then again to start and then it will start fine.. I never have a chance to try hitting it.

I replaced the starter today and I thought it turned over normal before but now it turns over super fast.. which reminded me when the starter went out on my 2010 S550 it did the same exact thing and once replaced it turned over super fast so I'm sure this was the culprit too.
