I am having a real hard time getting the rear calipers off of my car ( to replace the rotors ). I see the 2 18mm bolts that need to be removed, but can't seem to get a tool in there to get the right amount of leverage to get them out (tried a long breaker bar, stubby impact, and ratchet). I just tried some penetrating oil, but not really sure what else I can do.
No bueno on the passenger side. Could not find the right combo of breaker bar + extension + wobble socket to get me enough leverage - tried a variety of angles and nothing worked. The bolts are on there tight!
Will be taking it to a shop this week to avoid rounding the bolts.
