Need some guidance

Not sure if I am in the correct forum, but hoping for some advice. Was looking to purchase a CPO and I am down to S63 AMG sedean 2015 vs. S550 4matic 2016 or 2017. First time purchasing a Mercedes and was hoping you guys could point me in the right direction. The price difference between S63 AMG 2015 & S550 4matic 2016 Vs 2017 S550 4Matic is $20,000. In terms of the optional features they are about the same.

You've actually asked a somewhat complicated question. The short answer is "for AMG type drivers, the AMG is always worth the extra money, options aside. It's not about the options, it's about the AMG."

But that leaves the question, are you an AMG type driver? And that's one only you can answer. Most of us here could sit here and fairly think "if you have to ask the question, then AMG is not for you." But that's not the response I want to give.

I would say Google 50 Years of AMG, look at the YouTube results, and see if you care. If yes, get the AMG. If not, don't.

GL with your decision.

If you really want the AMG, get it. Be aware of the additional maintenance and repair costs if you have not considered that.
