still on stock tune after smaller SC pulley upgrade
Can someone knowledgeable give me some information whether its ok with stock tune after smaller Sc pulley upgrade?
I understand that its better to have a tune after a pulley upgrade, but a member stated that the car will still adapt to it even without a tune. I mean is this still safe for the meantime until i get a tune?
I have a 83mm sc pulley with beltwrap kit and still ran ok. I will get a 77mm sc clutched pulley soon and want to know if its still ok with no tune? My car is a 2004 S55.
Please help?

Drove mine 5k with 74mm no tune. No issues ever, no cel, just slightly jerky when it engages at low speed part throttle. Never had a lean code. The o2 sensors will see the leaner mix and add fuel. Just reset your codes when you put the pulley on so the ecu starts fresh with a nice rich mix and it will adapt. The car has a map sensor so it sees the added boost and knows what to do.
