2005 s55amg rotary speed and lateral acelleration sensor
i have a 2005 s55amg and my mbii code reader gives a code for rotary speed and lateral aceleration sensor for the left front.
my abs light is on anyone know a correct part # for this item and where its located
Hey friend... the P/N for your sensor is 0015404517 and it costs about $30 on ebay. It is located under the rear seat, driver's side. I had the same issues you currently have and changed it, but the issue remained unchanged. In my case, the issue was tied up to the fact that I accidentally put my car in "test/dyno mode" and did not complete the test... how could I, if i didn't know I started it. The benz world site has a basic set of instructions to get in and out of that mode, but in my case they were of no use and I had to take it to the dealer to get it fixed. But I digress, replacement for the yaw sensor is very straightforward; 10 minutes, a 10mm socket, a ratchet with extensor and the new sensor should do the trick.
