Powersteering oils
I have done some research since i have purchased the 2001 s55. i have gotten the ABC warning after doing O2 sensors, it had escalated from randomly bliping on when hitting a bump to turning on all the time and giving me the message "drive carefully" in red. I am thinking of doing a flush but I am annoyed of having to waste CHF 11s powersteering oil since its so expensive. I was wondering if i could use a cheaper alternative just to flush, 25+ just to flush and waste is just a waste.

Out Of Control!!
Rather than flush to a toilet,why not get a real diagnostic short test and define the real problem------------- before you waste all your money!

i have seen multiple threads on people saying its abc pump failing so i was looking for an alternative is all. Would it be best to take to a MB dealer or would a trusted general mechanic be able to diagnose the vehicle? Thanks
