Left Rear will not rise up. Height button seems to work sporadically but it will not rise of the left rear. Possible my strut failed, valve block? I believe my valve block needs to be rebuilt as the left rear has always sagged more than any other corner. I’m no where near an expert with these systems. I did change the hydraulic pump in August. Took a few days. Anyone know what my best step is before I have someone with star come out?

Also there is no abc error on cold start with the suspension sagging. But if I back out of the garage I get a “stop, car too low.”
Edit: button is responding for the 3 corners. Not risining my left rear still.

Edit: Corner popped up randomly. Going to order a valve block rebuild kit. Will also have someone with star come out.

Possibly valve block, possibly strut travel sensor. Best to get a quick code check before spending money on parts. It will identify the parts at fault.

Abc pump

2007 CLS550 , replaced Abc pump because was only showing 9 bar pressure, after replacement I pressurized abc resivoir and got the pump back up to 195 bar pressure at idle, but I tried to activate the rodeo test but no response from vehicle at all. No codes in abc module after clearing codes. Left front and rear showing 0 bar psi, right side has avg 50bar pressure. When I push the raise button , it illuminates but does not show anything on cluster saying vehicle raising or lowering. Any suggestions?

Pressure reading when you attempt rodeo?

Manual actuations to raise/lower the corners do anything?

I see the future.... Your cars are in it... What are these.... Stars? Oh... Just one star. The one used to get the car to share its dirty little secrets.

Money is well spent on accurate diagnosis. This is one of those times. It will tell all manner of stories of pressure hither and yon, what it thinks of ride height sensors, of pressure when doing things like attempting to pick up a certain saggy corner... Ect ect. Take your medicine. If it makes you feel better, insist on a hug or a kiss before you are violated at the service counter.

The corner has since picked up, still sags when parked overnight in the cold. But pops right up when put in reverse/drive. I have replaced myself hydraulic pump myself. I don't think I will be taking my car to the dealer for any suspension work. I know a friend with a star computer.

Sagging when parked is usually the valve block seals, can be rebuilt or just ignored.

I’m not sure I would ignore it. But it’s not something I'd have a dealer do either. The valve blocks are expensive parts and they can be rebuilt. Run a search here on the site. There used to be guys here who would rebuild them. You may have to get yours out and send it to them for repair or as a core. Otherwise, spring for the $2500 at the dealer, which makes no sense. The block is aluminum which is almost never the problem. The seals are rubber and get contaminated, thus allowing seepage, albeit very slowly and only when cold enough to contract.
