Hopefully this will help somebody.......
Went out to work on my wifes Suzuki and heard a "clicking" noise coming from under the hood of the S55, alarm flashers were also flashing but weak. Car would NOT reset alarm with the key remote but battery was down to 40% so I figured that was it. I disconnected the battery to remove and recharge it however the clicking sound kept going? Seemed to be in drivers side front wheel well. Anyways clicking finally stopped and I installed recharged battery. Alarm flashers immediately went off and would not shut off or reset with key remote. I tried to start the car but the key would insert but not turn at all, the steering wheel was not locked. I tried locking all doors and drivers door with blade key but still no alarm flasher reset. I researched this and found the alarm siren (drivers wheel well) has an internal battery that sometimes goes bad and takes down other things with it so I removed wheel and removed the siren. Tried the key again but would go into ignition but not turn, flashers still going off. I let the car sit for 30 mins and went back, flashers were now off (alarm reset?). I put the key in and still no turn. I left key inserted in the ignition and let the car sit for another 15 mins. Went back again (key was in ignition) tried the key and it turned and she started. Im sure batteries are bad in the siren and thats why it wouldnt reset. Once I removed it the car was able to reset everything and run again. Ill install the new siren next week and hope all goes well.
