Yes I am convinced that my soft close feature is not working, the driver door doesn't work either, the passenger front door does in fact work. My question is why is it so darn hard to close the trunk like I rally need to man handle it down and put all my weight down just to physically close the trunk?? Once I do get it latched the silver handle pops out for a few seconds then goes back in. Honestly I really don't care about the soft close feature I just want to be able to close the trunk like a normal car. This is a 2004 s500 4matic if it helps out. I have searched other threads already and they all point to the soft close issue, and in my case I have to choose my battles with this car as I cant fix everything that doesn't work on a 14 year old vehicle.
