ABC Woes
I have an S55 that one day called out ABC. The front left strut was replaced, and so were the level sensors.
My scanner is capable of doing the level programming. Autel maxisys
My current process is:
plunger automatic calibration: Says it’s successful after going to max height, then says preconditions not met. But no code for a failed plunger cal.
level cal: I set the front to 26 3/4”, rear to 27 1/2”. This sets my level sensors voltage happy. I don’t have the 5k gauge for the inclination angle, so I say 5° up front, and -1.5° rear. Level cal successful.
load adjustment: Raises the front, lowers rear right and then says successful.
The load adjustment seems to throw everything off, since it jacks up the front. If I don’t do a load adjustment the car rides at the level set from before. After the load adjustment the car runs at -45mm up front and 0mm at back (live ride height data).
Is this because my inclination angle is made up?
What also confuses me is the “-45mm”, but the car is riding higher than “0”. I swapped the level sensors left to right to see if they were reading upside down. But no change. I have the sensors fitted to the aft side of the mounting bracket. Its been months since I removed the stock ones, so I can’t remember if they were forward of the bracket. Any tips would be appreciated.

https://www.google.com/search?client...UTF-8&oe=UTF-8 i know those aren't the same car but it might help you anyway. Supposedly the wis/das/star system can do the adjustment automatically but if your "front up wishbone" are of the wrong weight, it will not work, anyways don't take my word for it as i am no expert on this.
Cordially.
I believe the issue lies in the level sensors reading upside down. They’re correctly positioned, I’ve swapped them left to right. No change.
