The tires on the car in the pictures above are Continental DW summer tires. I liked them although the Conti 5P's offer a bit more handling grip at a slight increase in speed and harshness. I have not owned all season tires in 20 years so I cannot offer any recommendations for that type of tire.
As Maw said above, the W220 S65 wheels are not identical nor directly interchangeable with W220 S55 wheels. The W220 S65 uses unique wheel hubs so the wheel offsets are different, the largest difference is the rear wheels.

I had to hustle the 55 around round yesterday to make a tee time, when construction had me traveling maybe 20miles out of the way (ugh...), so I can tell you that (1) from stop; (2) pulling from traffic in 2nd; (3) downshifting into 3rd at 80mph to 120mph to pass ALL traffic; and (4) whatever else I needed, the conti DWS 06+ performed. That is all.

You see it's not about whether the car performs... it's about whether the tires can handle the car.

But beware, you'll replace rears twice as frequently as fronts.
