TCU Reset
I know this post was done back in April, however the instructions included in this thread are incorrect.
Everything is right exceot you Do Not remove the key after turning it back to the off position. If you do that, you're not allowing anything to be changed. Leave key in while in the off position for min of 2 minutes then start car and drive so adaptations can begin.

I did leave the key in when I reset the adaptations and could hear 2 faint clicks sounding from the dash/key area around the 3 minute mark. seemed to do the job.

Sh*tt! You learn something every day if you're open. I'd never seen to leave the key in. Of course it's never mattered because I drive in M mode basically exclusively. I'll try that way though. Plus I'm sure this works for other cars of this era since the computers were all designed and manufactured by the same suppliers. That's a freebie on me.
I'm guessing my TCU tune parameters will still hold any way (shift quickness, firmness, line pressure, etc.)... but let's see...

PS. Beware the internet… I always thought the “click” you felt in the accelerator pedal when you removed the key at the end of the sequence was the resetting action… but who knows… trying it this way I didn’t get that “click” so I don’t know if anything happened… still driving in M mode.

I had a 98 ITR for a time... I had to sell it due to a fractured vertebrae and I'm not quite sure that I ever recovered from the depression that resulted.

Is an ITR the Integra Type R? Nice little cars! Selling a pride and joy is always difficult to come to terms with. I will never sell my 05 s55 as its my dream/death car. However if I do, then I will just move up to a 2020 s560 non AMG.
They are quick enough for me without AMG getting involved. No autobahn in the US, so having an AMG I will never use the car to her full potential. Unless there is another lockdown and the HP are off the highway lol.
