Help.. broken s55 diff
Hi, just recently brought a Mercedes S55 N/A.
the owner who owned it previously lied and said he heard a clunk on the motorway and the car stopped moving.
I went detective mode and looked at his social media which I found to my joy a video of my Mercedes S55 doing burnouts which lead to a broken diff.
I need to get the diff replaced but I’m not too sure which one I need to get.
I have tried to find the part number on the current diff but it old and has rusted away.
Can someone please clarify what diff I need to put in the car. Could someone also confirm whether I can fit a S500 diff to a S55?
