Weird electrical issue 2007 S65
I put both new batteries on saturday but it keeps the red battery on the instrument panel. But that's the begining.
Sometimes it does not want to get in gear from parking. Sometimes it takes drive but wont move when accelerating. Also the miles arrow goes to 220 and ia not moving.
He starts like a champ pressing rhe start button, but then I need to use the key to turn it off because the button wont turn it off.
The dash is showing ABS and ESP unoperative.
It can be running flawlessly even with all the dash showing ABS, ESP and the red battery and then the steering gets really hard.
Took it to the shop today, but was wondering if anyone has ever experienced that and if so what should I expect to get on the bill...
Thanks in advance!

Ones the ground issue is cleared and your ABS, ESP is still on you may have to replace your wheel sensors and if after you have replaced these sensors you still have an airbag warning light on it's time to check if there is corrosion at the airbag control unit pins. This unit is located under the cup holders and I have seen whereby connecting pins in the airbag control unit were corroded away causing the airbag light to stay on indefinitely.
If it "sometimes it does not want to get in gear from parking" try to get it in "N" and push the car back or forward, while the engine running than see if it will go into drive.
