New to the forum and I did a search before posting this, but I could not find anything on this issue.
I am looking at purchasing a S63 and a few I have found have the Ceramic brake system(B07) .
Researching and finding the extreme cost to replace the rotors on cars with this package is a little shocking and almost eliminates cars with this package from my search. But a few vehicles are the perfect color combination so I want to make sure I am researching all options for further down the road repairs before eliminating these cars from my search.
I was wondering if anyone makes a kit or would I run into any issues replacing the ceramic system with the regular iron rotors when it comes time to change the brakes?
Any underlying systems I need to think about with these cars if I was to swap out the rotors/pads to a non ceramic system? Or would this be a swap rotors/pads and caliper type of job?
Anyone on the forum preformed this swap in the past?
