Simple -- don't tune it.

Change all the fluids (transmission, ABC, coolant, etc.), change all the ABC accumulators if they are original, send the coil packs out to be rebuilt, swap all the plugs, go one step wider on all the tires, and have a nice day.

Any less, or more, and you're asking for trouble.

@johnlane will freely disagree with me.

;-D

Beautiful car!
Unusual to see one with the pre facelift kit but with the facelift mirrors and headlamps.
Any more pic's of the car?
As @maw1124 said, don't tune it.
Imho, they are very fast cars already. I own an S65AMG just like yours. It's easy to get this cars to 700+bhp but I haven't felt the need for more power.
Just make sure you maintain it properly and you will love the experience of the S class with a V12 under the bonnet. My one still puts a smile on my face every time I drive it

OP.... Where did you come across that one?

It looks exactly like my previous 221 S-65.

Same size tires front and rear? Brembo front brakes with rotors on hats? If so you are in for a treat.

Maw accumulators are not such a common failure in the 221 cars. Though the little nitrogen bomb that threads into the ABC pump fails every 2-3 years.

Hello sir!

Got the car here in Malaysia.

It’s still running with stock brake kit which I planned to upgrade later!
Noted on the nitrogen bomb tips!

Will get more pics of the car once it’s done up!

It’s actually undergoing a major surgery to facelift exterior with power

OP upgrade charge cooling with a bigger charge coolant pump and additional heat exchanger in front of the A/C condenser.

Not enough capacity as standard.

Search here on the board for how others have done it.

I'll be copying what Brabus did with the 900 for my car. All in due time.

I didn't realize the 65s need cooling upgrades too, although it makes sense.
