Code 997 - Lower Price for S Class Cabs
The NetStar MSRP for the Driver Assistance Package (Code 997) for the S550 and S63 Cabs, has been reduced* from $2,800. to $2,250.
I don't know if this is an across the board cut for Model Year '17, but it does at least apply to the '17 S550 Cab and the '17 S63 Cab.
*reduced vs. the pricing that was listed in the S Cab DOG.

I'm still waiting for the MY17 Coupe DOG... half expect them to cut it $550 like the cab, but raise the MSRP price by more than that difference.
The electronically heated windshield I think is out too for MY17, not sure if it is discontinued or now standard equipment. It had no switchable control so was kind of a hidden feature. I was going to pass on it and the warmth/comfort package anyway, being in Arizona.

Yes I am hearing May for the DOG with order bank probably opening in June.
No significant change from My15/16 expected though... Airscarf might be an option with the warmth and comfort package, new color combo porcelain/blue, and exterior night styling package is it.
It would be nice if M-B will at least allow and upgrade to the NTG 5.5 COMAND interface (W213) when it is available, to A217 & C217 owners - it definitely has an improved and more intuitive menu structure and looks better, too.
