S65 coupe creep speed question

Hi, I just purchased a CPO S65 coupe with 6000 miles. First MB product for me therefore I have a question about driving characteristic. When the car is selected in drive or reverse from a parked position and after I have disengaged the auto E parking brake, the idle creep speed seems very slow and sometime no movement and I have to give gas to move. Usually with other cars you can control a maneuver such as backing out of a parking spot by just putting car in reverse and then controlling speed with just brake paddle which gives more control rather than going back and forth with brake and gas. Is this just my car or normal behavior for this car? I asked the dealer and he could not understand what I was talking about. I am aware of HOLD feature and that is not activated in the scenario I am talking about.

Is there a way to prevent car from auto parking brake? can this feature be turned off?

Thanks for comments.

I don't think this feature can be turned off, I believe it's there to hold the car in the parking position instead of holding it on the transmission.
