possible good deal on a fully loaded (buyback) 2018 S63 Coupe

Friend send me this for my opinion as he's considering upgrading his 2015 to a refresh as I just did. This is a fully loaded car with high MSRP and is at a seemingly great sale price, also a private party sale so no sales tax (at least in some non-commie states like AZ). The free Autocheck comes out clean as well.

HOWEVER... I remember seeing this specific car listed by M-B of Hoffman Estates last fall and am 99.9% sure it was a dealer buyback, otherwise I might have bought it. And that is not mentioned in the ad nor does it show up in the Autocheck link provided, which shows nothing before 11/19 @ 15k mi. If someone runs a Carfax maybe it will show up. I believe M-B USA does honor the warranty on buybacks and may even extend it for extra year at least for the specific issue that triggered the lemon law. Assuming the title is branded and not 'laundered' the car will likely be worth less upon resale, but it can also can be acquired for cheaper so kind of a wash. I assume if this were not a buyback, it would likely be in the $140-150k range.

The car also has a good number of miles for 2 years old, but that isn't such a big deal since it has the CCBs (brakes should have no wear) and these vehicles have generally been quite reliable.

Anyway since it seems there is a dearth of nicely equipped 2018+ S63 Coupes out there, thought it was worth sharing here. I know nothing about the seller so as always, caveat emptor.

It seems over priced at 126K. Looking at the listing the KBB is saying it is above private party price range. I believe some of the information he is saying in the post is incorrect. Minor thing, the original AMG floor mats are missing, those are pricey to replace.

Edit
If you google search the VIN, it does show it was at Hoffman Estates for $134.9K. It had 15,167 miles at that time.

I would get the service records to see what the buy back might have been related to

Are the seat belt extenders gone for 2020? It's one of the things we truly miss that my M850 does not have.

Gone, or did just the convenience of the properly placed button move?

I didn’t notice when looking at it before it went to get various custom work done.

Extenders themselves are unchanged, but there is no longer a button to activate them. Have to open/close the door now.

Glad to hear they are still there, don't recall using the button too much but we did use it.
