I have 2015 S63 Coupe with Burmester high end sound system.
I noticed that the rear center speaker between rear seats doesn't have any sound. It does not even have bass.
Im wondering if the speaker is damaged or that it is not an actual speaker.
Can someone help me by clarifying what it does?

I thought this is a surround speaker, so try to put the audio settings to surround and listen to something dynamic with lots of surround...........if you don't hear it, check error codes (using OBD2 scanner) or go to the dealer.

went done to the coupe in the morning, forgot why, and just cleaned it a bit before coming up and looking at this thread :-)

You will not get error codes for a faulty speaker with an OBD code scanner

I switched the sound mode to surround and it worked! It workes on Live mode too but a bit lower than surround and 3D.
