Please Unpack Top Speed on US-spec AMG S65 Coupe 2018-2019?
I cant find the 2018 or 2019 dealer ordering guides for the S-coupes (which would include the AMG variants) anywhere.
I am unclear on whether the AMG Drivers Package was offered in the US. I am under the impression that it was not offered; that the top speed is NOT electronically limited to 155mph; and that the US-spec S65 Coupe by default will reach 186mph.
The AMG Owners Manual supplement which is available online does NOT mention electronically limited top speed. Instead, it lists the top speed as 186mph as it indicates the vehicle speeds in gears 1-7.
Can folks with concrete information please help unpack this? Please provide promary source material for reference.
Thanks,
David

Wow Mercedes is making the AMG S63 for the 2021 model year? I thought the current S-class was finished beyond model year 2020.
