AirCap Feature not covered by CPO Warranty?

Took in my 2017 S63 Cabriolet w/48k miles to Calabasas MBZ for B1 service and to repair the rear wind deflector that is part of the AirCap feature. I have the full CPO extended warranty purchased from MBZ when I purchased the car. They are telling me that the $3200+ repair is not covered by the warranty? A feature that is not an accessory, that has a button next to the top up/down button?
Has anyone had this repair done and it was not covered? I have asked for documentation from MBZ where it states this is not a covered item. They keep sending me a copy of the warranty and what it covers.
This is the direct quote:
3.2.21. SOFT TOP/RETRACTABLE HARDTOP: Mechanical linkages, hydraulic unit, valves/solenoids, switches and sensors.*
There is no other reference to the convertible top or AirCap feature. I have attached the pdf of the warranty minus the 1st page that contains my personal info.
If anyone has a path on how to resolve this, please share because MBZ does not and has not replied with a solution

** There are too many unique technologies and features in the S-Class to only have inclusionary coverage. Having a top tier exclusionary policy gives the customer so much more power when it comes to claim acceptance.
