Soft Close + Auto Window Problem
Hey guys,
Recently my coupe's passenger door soft close stopped working and the windows don't seal when the door closes. Upon opening the door, the windows go a 1/2" down as normal, but not up when the door gets shut. Then, if I hold the window button up 1/10 of a second too long, they open a 1/2" again! As you can imagine, this is driving me nuts!
It seems like some kind of logic error, not a mechanical failure, or could be a combination of both. Anyone had this happen before?

could be the micro switch that activates the glass and door
My soft close quit and I started to tear it apart or take it to the dealer to figure it out. but after a month, it started working again.

Thanks very much for the clue. I thought of a limit reset, didn't know the procedure and dismissed the idea because I convinced myself it wouldn't fix the soft close. Anyway, all's well that ends well.

Thanks for the procedure. I'm not sure it's that simple because until I started messing with the back window, then the front again, then the back again and on and on, somehow it eventually reset. Hopefully this archive will be completely useless. LOL.
