questing guidance: Coupe cup holder area "rear slider piece" is stuck as "retracted".
I have a 2016 coupe. Recently, I was inadvertently moving a water bottle that apparent hit the then retracted portion of the lid, and without realizing it, it started to close on a wallet. As I noticed this, I didn't want the wallet to get accidnetlly stuck while the lid was closed, and of course, because the wallet isnt' as flexible as other things, it got "stuck". Will trying to carefully wiggle the top back a bit, apparently, it got "stuck", more retracted than usual, and the top slider "handle"/push bar, is of course, stuck under the trim now. Holy cow.
Ha. So, I'm in a pickle.
Does anyone know where I might find some sort of troubleshooting guidance, or areas to try to squeeze a wedge in (or something) to release a possible push bar/handle of the retractable part to potentially release it? I have barely used this area since I have purchased the car for this reason, of course, but it was hotter than usual today so I brought a bottle of water with me. That might have been a mistake, ha.
