S63 Coupe to M850i Coupe - thoughts
Title says it all. Have 2021 S63 coupe. Somewhat notorious wet clutch TC-less transmission and tendency to crash over poor road surfaces even in comfort setting are collectively annoying enough such that I'm considering the above, though otherwise is quite a car.
Test drove an M850i very recently for repeat exposure and found it much better than I remembered from a brief drive of one years ago. Was on 19" (am looking at a CPO with 20"), for what that's worth from a comfort standpoint.
There is a financial benefit to me to make the swap, but of course I'd be taking a hit on the S63. Hard car to value and have been lowballed (is under 20k miles, dealerships offering $90-100k) thus far without resorting to private party separate transaction.
The specific M850i I've found is highly-optioned. B&W to replace my current Burmester High-End, crystal, Alcantara, etc. Interior is extended, not full, leather, though unsure how much I'd care about that.
Simply interested in others' thoughts.

Or you could get the C192 GT.
There are two forum members on that thread that personally owns an 8 series, they may be able to help you with your questions.

The M8 is the only BMW I like from a design standpoint. But the S63 coupe is one heck of a car honestly, and in my personal opinion, the S63 is still the better car.

As a BMW lover, I cannot condone buying any modern BMW until they come to their senses design wise. They have ruined the M5, the 7-series, the X5, and the X7 between hideous styling or electrification. Don't even get me started on the god-awful XM. Why support a company at all like that? The only thing BMW will understand is a drop revenue. So, until BMW sorts itself out, stick with the S63. That's my thoughts.
