Keep in mind he has the M157 vs your M177- 2 totally different motors and 2 totally different sounds.

I just went from a M157 to a M177 myself and can't get over how quiet the M177 is. I had a full HMS exhaust (downpipes-back) on the M157 and it sounded absolutely incredible. I took it off that car and put it on my 2018 M177 and it sounds no different than stock. The smaller displacement, design of the motor, and location of the turbo's on the 4.0L make it much more difficult to get that 5.5L sound that the M157 has. I struggle with it daily. Downpipes are mandatory for me as I miss the sound of my M157. That's the best sounding car/exhaust combo I've ever owned.

if your looking for the pop and crackled sound from your exhaust, that is done through α ECU tune and you need to let the tuner know beforehand that is what you want. You can also accomplish that with catless downpipes, but the pop and crackled is minimum with the downpipes alone. I would recommend Eurocharge for the ECU tune and Redstar for downpipes.
