Good ET for a 2014. Trap speed fairly low but goes with being a very heavy AWD car. I think the 2018+ are in the low 11s.
S65 comparison would be interesting, probably would have a slower ET (would lose against S63 in a 1/4 mi drag race) but would have a faster trap speed and overtake the S63 somewhere between 1/4 and 1/2 mi.
Stock continentals. No launch control as you mentioned so traction certainly wasn't an issue. Seems very power limited on launch and first gear. Doesn't reach full boost in 1st till nearly redline.
I do think it's funny/quick for a big boat and agreed compared to muscle car era. Pulling the engine on my 69 Charger now as it's a slug in comparison.
They really respond to a tune. I have s550 with Renntech crappy CA gas tune and in first when it gets on boost it feels like a freight train. With the S63 you can be more aggressive with tune so expect big numbers gains. I do get traction issues if I launch in the 3k range.
Ive been in a tuned S63 and in something that big on a good hit my god that thing moves especially in passenger seat.Then you drive off in luxury it truly is crazy!!
intmd8 those are good numbers. Is the car tuned? I took my 2017 s63 coupe up to GLD and the best i could could muster out of it was a 12.7. The car hauls *** once it gets moving but off the line there is a hesitation before it get going.

we had a stock W220 S65 at the track 2 weeks ago run 11.6 in the morning, of course by the end up the day it got up over 85 outside and it dwindled to 11.9, guy made 8 passes. in the same heat my downpipes/tune/intake W220 S65 managed 11.4 at 122.5, curious what my W222 S65 will run since its 300lbs lighter and has the 7 speed trans.
I had my 2014 s63 tuned at eurocharged Houston, and had only down pipes and exhaust on my car. My turbos blew within 2 months. I then upgraded pure turbos put in by a reputable Houston shop and they had eurocharge redo my tune. Car performance ran like crap Beliw is Dyno, with the eurocharged tune. I had my car retuned to stock and then retuned by another shop and automatically could feel a huge difference. Waste of close to 4K for two tunes with eurocharged.
