2018 S63AMG with vibration, Help!
I have a 2018 S63AMG 4Matic with about 8k miles on it.
It had that infamous engine warning light came on last year and the dealer fixed it by switching/replacing coils and etc, then that light never came back on.
However it developed vibration coming from the engine. It only happens when the gear is in D whether the engine is cold or warm. Interestingly, if I I put it in N and back in D, vibration goes away.
I remembered that there was a software fix for this and asked a tech guy at the dealer about it. He said it could remove the vibration but it will also take away "AMG exhaust sound".???
Does anyone know about this issue? Thanks.

I had a coupe and di the same but mine was much worse.

Hello, is it here someone who solve vibrations problem in M177 2018+ 63 AMG ?
I found lots of information's about that problem but no one solve it- mostly dealers pay back for cars.
Mercedes know about problem and in both cases below they told customers that cars works fine and thats normal for 63 AMG.

Looks like its the start of my issue. It gradually gets worse and worse over time until it just stops working .

I think your problem is different after study your thread.
Here both cars and mine have problem with vibrations under accelerating and with constant speed ~120 km/h.
One car also going hardly to right during press gas pedal.

Found one person on different forum who got similar problem with vibrations- mostly new car with 550 km~ mileage 63 AMG 4.0TT.
Dealer didn't want help so he wrote to MB and after months they fix a car- engine replace.
