Today was the big day. Installation of the RENNTech down pipes, sport mufflers, and intercooler upgrade with pump. Plus, the Eurocharged Stage 2 tune. Everything went pretty smooth. No exhaust leaks. I feel everything turned out great. No codes. The vehicle is a complete night and day difference now. Unbelievable. I wish this was how the vehicle was new. Vehicle goes into Mercedes for its Service A, on October 5th. Vehicle has around 50,000 miles. Will try and get some Draggy times tonight. Depends on weather. Wish we had a good all-wheel drive dyno here in my area. Sadly, we do not. I estimate from other tunes, a stage 2 should be around 750HP and 800-900TQ. I cannot prove that until I get to a dyno. The butt dyno feels amazing though. Lol.
Just been enjoying the vehicle, A LOT. It pulls like crazy. It is a 6,000lb car though. Lol. I tried to do some draggy runs a week or so ago. I couldn't get a clean run in. I am on vacation now till the 28th. Will try and get some times in. No dyno numbers. I wish. We do not have any good all-wheel drive dyno facilities around here. Basically, only two wheel. My buddy used to own a chassis dyno speed shop. However, he sold it. He only had a two-wheel drive dyno. As for the rack. I work on cars for a living. I just took the car into work. I do the same thing. I typically work off jackstands in a heated garage. However, I wasn't quite sure how the exhaust was going to go, and it all turned out ok. I may do a tweak to it, soon, however it all turned out great. I am pleased. Haven't had any races or highway pulls with anyone since the installs. Right before the mods, I did run a new C8 automatic vette. Walked all over him on the highway. The Benz is a beast on the highway. Future plans possibly built engine, black boost turbos, stage three tune, built transmission. I know it's a heavy car, however it is the best of both worlds. In my opinion.
