I just moved to a state that doesn't require front license plates so I removed the front plate mount on my S63. The mount is held on with two screws through the bumper and a small plastic support attached to the lower grille. I got the mount off easily enough, but how does the support piece from the grille come off? Anyone have a link to the M-B install sheet for this assembly?
Well I managed to get it off, quite simple actually, the support is held on by two clips. Pushing a small screwdriver against one of them released it from the grille.
