I am looking to purchase a facelift S63 (2018-2020). Some of the options that I've seen so far for me that are must-haves are:
1. Burmester High End 3D;
2. Premium or Executive (definitely prefer the 4 seater) rear seating;
3. Magic Sky;
4. Night Vision (not a must);
6. Heads-up display;
7. Porcelain/Black interior;
8. Black or blue exterior;
9. Carbon exterior (not a must); and
10. Carbon interior.
Is there anything that I am missing? Are the carbon ceramics worth it or are you better off just getting the regular brakes?
Does anyone have any leads on anything similar to what I'm looking for? Ideally, less than 50,000 miles, I might look at something with less than 70,000 miles depending on the condition. The only one that I can find that fits that criteria has a lemon title..... don't think it would be worth it but it's just so tempting considering how difficult it is to find something like it: https://www.autowebexpo.com/used/Mer...c3200d4f12.htm
An S65 would be great, but I might be priced out, also sort of need AWD. I'm located in Canada but willing to travel to find the perfect car. I've got cash on hand.
I'm upgrading from a 2014 C63 507 Sedan, black exterior, and porcelain/black Alcantara interior. Just looking for a car that I'll be keeping for the next long while.
It's a good thing to know what you want in a car as far as options are concerned. It took me around 6 months to find the car I wanted; pretty much same options as you except I didn't want the 4 seat package, and wanted night vision, which I truly love! Sunset in Seattle during the winter is around 3PM, so a lot of night driving for around 3-4 months of the year. I WISH I had found one with CCB, but only 2 ever rolld through while I was looking. One was priced way too high and the other had seriously high mileage. But I think it's a fantastic option, and worth every penny.
The tougher question is whether you're willing to go with a car with a branded title. Couple things about this car: 1. California has the most stringent Lemon Laws, so a lot easier to get a buyback in Cali than other states. 2. Most likely the problem was with the the very common rough idle problems that plagued 2018 S63s. And the car has gone over 45K miles and 5+ years since then. BUT...why so many owners??? If you can get an aftermarket warranty issued from @Highline-Autos.com then it might be a good car for you. But I probably wouldn't touch it without that type of peace of mind.
Other things to consider; see if a dealer near you will provide you with the VMI for that car. It's more comprehensive than a Carfax report, and shold give the exact reason for the buyback. Dealers aren't required to provide that information, but if you know a service writer at a MB delaer, he'll probably get it for you(just read it off to you, not provide a paper copy). There will be a measure of trust involved both ways. I got the VMI from my dealer for my S63 before I bought it last year.

It's a great list but be open to getting a car without EVERY single option you want to have. I LOVE MY CAR so much, will never, ever sell it. Got a 10 year Continental warranty when I first bought it, new. It hasn't needed like... anything at all Nothing has gone wrong with it in 6 years and 3 mos. All my friends want to ride in it in the back seat. Just rode in a Rolls Royce Ghost yesterday, it was nice but the S63 is almost as nice and just as comfortable. The seats are the best, front and back. My niece adored the car....

Might just have to go with the night vision then, but the CCB don't really seem like a benefit for me for just city driving and some highway.
Carlosinseattle - Probably going to stay away from the branded title for sure, but the one you sent looks great! just wish it was black... but could always wrap it. might take a look we'll see. I'm located in Canada so will have to travel regardless if I'm looking down in the States. Thanks for your feedback though
I'm located in Calgary, Alberta / Kelowna, British Columbia. I'm back and forth pretty often.
Stever500 - Love your car
Borek40404 -really looking for that Porcelain interior though, I think that's going to be a must have for me at this point it's just beautiful and I take decent care of the interior.
Thanks for your replies guys! If anyone's got a similar spec that they wanna sell - let me know because I'd be right over!

the S65 looks amazing, however, I need the AWD for winters up here in Canada, and it's a little out of my price range ...... but it's soooo tempting don't get me wrong. Who can really say no to a V12!
Thanks again though borek40404, looks like you've been having more success looking than I have. It's just difficult to search down in the States while being in Canada, especially on Facebook.

Reason: Fix link
OP I drove my S65 in winter with plenty snow using Continental DWS tires and only a couple times wished for AWD. Snow drifts across the driveway that AWD wouldn’t have helped with. Fit a proper set of winter tires for the fourth season and buy that S-65 with Carbon Ceramic brakes. You will love it.
