Steering Wheel Uprade

I have a 2015 S63, anyone upgrade their steering wheel? If so, any trusted recommendations of where to buy from?

I have a 2014 S63 with a non-heated steering wheel and have been looking into getting it swapped for a heated wheel. I know the multi switch assembly has to be changed, and Benz Ninja can do the coding, but I don't know what other modules/wiring needs to be installed. Have you ever done a heated wheel upgrade?

Following and looking forward to any updates as you go through the process. My main concern as I have been briefly browsing the airbag and its authenticity/source.

Hey @PatPend

We have done a ton of heated wheels but those were all with existing heated wheels so it was just plug and play.

For you situation though we would implement the same process along with adding a heating decoder.

I would ask Benz Ninja if he could work with that to program it.

Looking forward to your reply.

Hi @vincheung

We use oem airbags however the cost is $350 for just the airbag itself.

So we recommend to just order one of our airbag covers instead. They cost a quarter of the price and can be leather or Alcantara wrapped with any stitching so it can complete the look without being to costly.

If you wind up moving forward and need the multi switch, let me know. I have a black one that I bought for my previous car when thinking about adding a heated steering wheel. I bought a different car, this time with all the options, so I don't need the multi switch.
