From a totaled 2018 S63 4 mos ago to a used 2025 S63 today.
(I stupidly just posted this in the wrong place on someone else's TSB thread a few minutes ago as I wasn't paying attention. Hopefully this is now starting a new thread now. Ughhh... technology is not my friend)
Hello all, thanks everyone for their suggestions to buy certain 2018-2020 S63's that were for sale across the country the last 4 mos since our car was totaled. We were not able to find one with the same features we had before so we started looking at slightly used 2024-2025's... and out of the blue, last week, I found a car. I always checked least expensive to most expensive and this 2025 came up as the least expensive 2025 S63 for sale in the country. 4000 miles, $41k off MSRP, $88k more than we got for our totaled 2018 S63 so yeah, all that work finally yielded a car.
If didn't match what I was looking for, I wanted a car with the gold colored ceramic brakes, carbon fiber interior trim and the different black wheels but it was close enough, and looked very much like our 2018 in color combo. I will post actual pics taken by me when it gets here in a week or two, it's being trucked up from the dealer 1500 miles away. Pretty excited to get a certified 2025 with a 5 year warranty from the dealer (from new).
The owner traded it for an SUV after only owning it for 6 mos. I hope it's ok posting it in the W222 forum, I didn't see a W223 AMG S63 forum, yet.

Forum member stever500, I hope you enjoy the new vehicle in good health, I followed along your thread on the totaled vehicle https://mbworld.org/forums/s63-amg-s...63-2day-o.html, It breaks my heart and I am glad you came out unscathed. I am glad the vehicle protected you, cars can be replaced, lives can't be.
I would think positively that this a new beginning, a new chapter and hope you enjoy the new vehicle.
As for posting it in the wrong place, happens, blame related threads, it can be turned off https://mbworld.org/forums/profile.php?do=editoptions, look for related threads, choose disable (or something along those lines) it is a radio button, then make sure to click save changes.

We won't have it till Saturday or early next week. It takes a week to 10 days for them to truck it up here 1471 miles from the dealer. I'll report back though when I get it...

That is torture. I remember having to wait for my 2024 S580 to be shipped from Fl to Md.
