Are 22 inch wheels safe on an ML350 -2011? I know OES is 21 inches. I bought 22inches euro rs63 A few months ago. I love my wheels but my wife wantse to sell them because she thinks they are not safe. She wants the 19" back. She told me that her coworker had some 22 and that wheel came apart when she was driving on the freeway. So my question is " are 22 inch after market wheels safe?" I have the monarch 22 " euro 63

I think you are phrasing your question wrong. It's not the size that determines safety, it is how the wheel is constructed. Obviously the larger the size, the bigger the role the construction plays, but you can also have unsafe 16 inch home made wheels.
