That is beautiful. The Red Pepper interior truly shows off all of the detail in the car. I wonder if you can get an alcantera wrap for the winter time? I looked in some old posts and there are companies that will custom make a One.
You are right about the seating position. It is higher than I expected.
On a side note I just ordered the Renntech EVM control. The exhaust sounds so good I want the ability to have as many pops and crackles as possible. Now I just need to hardwire my radar detector and I am done.
Have fun (well as much as you can in the snow). I’m trying to find all weather mats that are a little more esthetic than the Weathertec.

I just went with the MB all weather mats, their reasonably priced and pretty good.
I’ll get Eurocharge tune and probably an AWE exhaust over summer.
I’m sure someone will make a steering wheel eventually just something I know for the future don’t get a wheel with hard parts, I thought it wouldn’t be an issue. It looks amazing but not functional. I prefer all Alcantara best grip material.
From looking at your wheel it appears that’s it’s leather; (Alcantara?) at either the 9-3, or 10-2 positions. Where are you holding it when driving normally?

Carbon8, where did you get your mats? Direct from MBZ? When I called my local dealership’s parts department they said they don’t make them. Perhaps they are the same size and shape of another model? Thanks!!

yes Alcantara on the sides but I find my elbow on the console and I rest my hand on 5 or 7 position mostly

Yes, when I picked up the car I told my salesman to put them on the bill, weather mats, charger, and a cover. They had everything in stock except the cover.

That is amazing! Have fun not sleeping and watching YouTube videos about the car and looking at pics ( if you too excited to sleep like I was). This is actually the first time I have seen the Pano roof. I am excited for you! I have driven mine quite a bit in the last two weeks to get past the 1000 mile break in. I just past 100 miles this AM
Honestly, I like the car more every time I drive it. I get questions about the almost everywhere I go since it is so rare. It would actually be interesting to know how many they sell in the US.
FYI I just bought one of the permanent eco start stop disable units that connects thru the OBD2. It was worth the $120 to keep it permanently disabled. I also just had a RennTech electronic valve module installed. With the valves open it sounds amazing (it’s a significant difference). I was going to tune it but the car really does not seem to need it. I spent $300 on a Pedal Box. It also makes a noticeable difference. It is brutally loud with the EVM set to open.
Are you going to tint it? I just did 50% on all the windows. I was worried it would too dark with 35%.
Have a great pick up tomorrow!!

Race start finally start working at 1000 miles? I cant remember when it actually starts letting you do it.
350 on mine now, and besides now needing to finding a phone holder that works well I love everything about the car, unfortunately we got 12" of snow and salt so its in the garage. Getting full ceramic coating and paint correction this weekend, then getting a 4 post lift put in next week to help with vehicle storage as things are pretty tight now.

As far as first impressions-- I can't even-- it's so damn amazing, will take me a while for my words to make sense on the subject.
Couple a things:
- got the 19 inch wheels and think it was the right move for me, drove over tons of NYC broken pavement and found the ride to be delightful. I'm not noticing the road/tire noise at highway speeds either-- unless I'm just too giddy to notice.
- it drives like a much smaller car-- as reviews have pointed out. I never wanted a car this big, and was afraid compared to my nimble M3 would feel like a truck, I don't feel that way in -any- way-- miraculous.
- I -definitely- need the stop/start disable-- STAT. Can you link to that when ya get a chance? I might do that RennTech thing as well, I can see why that would be fun. But the stop/start disable for sure.
- I really like the pano roof, but truly a "wash" between that and an operable front-only sunroof-- but it does lighten things up back there
- I really like the inflato-side-bolsters, i felt it was kind of gimmicky (and it is,) but like the extra support when needed, etc.

Congrats!
The side bolsters are really nice keeping you planted in the seat. Trust me, the car gets to be way more fun after you pass the 1000 mile break in!
Get ready to be asked about your car all the time. It is just so rare which is not the case for really any other MBZ besides maybe a GTR Pro.
The eco start/stop disable was worth the $130. It takes about 20 seconds to install. The eco stop icon on the center console just says in the off position.
