European Delivery

Is European Delivery (with discount) available on the GT63S? I couldn’t find that info on mbusa but did see some info about it on dealer websites and it doesn’t look promising. If there is a discount please let me know.

My second question/comment is what level of discounting people are seeing, if any on their purchase price when buying vs leasing.

When I looked into it, there was no discount available for European Delivery of the GT4C models. Also, ED discounts have typically been pretty modest, such as 5 or 7 percent. The dealer gets a flat 10% commission for ED cars, which they may share some of which with you. I see 3% being the norm.

As to your second question, it dpends on the year and trim of the car. There seem to still be some 2019s left on the lots, which can probably be quite aggressively discounted - say 15% for a GT53, or 18% for a GT63/s?

For the 2020s, I would expect somewhere between 10-13%. I pulled these numbers out of my butt.

Where are you located?

location

I’m in Austin, TX. There are two MB dealers in the metro area but San Antonio and Dallas are both options for dealerships given their proximity to Austin. Thanks for that info.

Oh ok. I was going to recommend Germantown MD dealership if you are in the area. They participate on this forum and are able to do unusually aggressive deals for some reason. I bought my wife's C300 from there. They didn't have the right car for me when it came to the GT.

Good luck with your hunt. Post pictures when you get it.

You can DM me for a contact, while every dealer theoretically can do ED not everyone knows how to properly do it or has contacts in Germany on MBUSA.
