Too many
leases on these cars are insanely high , probably close to 3 k a month plus 5 k down
all of this was pre corona , so will Benz do great lease support who knows
but in general
10 % dealer discount plus rebates and the rest will be in the hands of the factory reference setting RV and MF

Lease MF's on the GT63 cars have dropped and the residuals are relatively flat. The key in the lease payment with this car (there are no trunk monies at all) is in the gross cap of the car. The MBFS residual does NOT have an MRM like Porsche so their percentages are applied to the full and clearly excessive MSRP's on these units. So if one is savvy enough to get a low cap cost they will shrink the gap in depreciation over the term creating a lower payment. And remember lease rent charge (derived from money factor) is the percentage of the residual plus the net cap cost of the car. These cars are not just not cheap but the payments have come down. They are still not remotely close to the BMW M8 or M5 leases which run the triple crown: no mrm with decent residuals, huge discounts, low low standard money factors.

For anyone considering a lease on these cars, choosing M5 or M8 is simply no brainer.
Cars are very competitive and no one can say that one is better then the other as all of them have advantages and disadvantages but overall they are virtually equal.
A significant and not irrelevant lease rate (even for wealthy folks) advantage of BMWs is not something to easy disregard.

At this price range, I would rather pay more for my first choice brand/model than a great deal on a car I don't give a second look on the road. To those rich enough to not care, both thumbs up.

I agree, get what you like and enjoy!
Most people won't get a second look at the M8 though, they just see this
