2020 GT63S
Hello everybody. It’s been a long time since I’ve been on here! Need some of your opinions please. Currently looking at a left over 2020 GT63S. MSRP is about $179,xxx. Was quoted;
42 months lease
15k out of pocket
$2,175 a month includes taxes
This is through a leasing broker and says the dealership they deal with is only willing to take off $9k because they say they know a better deal can be had from another buyer. I feel that’s crap and can do way better since it’s a 2020 model year. How much off the msrp can I expect to ask for? What deals have been negotiated on a 2020 currently? All help is appreciated!

If this is the best deal you can get, let it go. That car is nowhere worth the money. 2021 have the updated MBUX and you should be able to get off more on a 2021.
6-8 months ago our dealer would have been ecstatic to made a deal for $20K+ off.
So what this deal shows me:
Lousy discount (5%) on an old car, the MF marked up
I strongly encourage you never to put money down on a lease (you likely loose it if the car is totaled) nor should you go beyond 36 months.
COVID and low inventory makes dealers carry inventory longer and pay for keeping the car in stock. But in the end, this car is getting to be very old as the MY22's will be here in a few months
