2023 Order Guide

how is it looking for you? I just got word my car was built on the 16th and is awaiting a ship. Dealer said likely 30-60 days. Is the shipping carrier tracking only available once it's assigned to a ship?

Great to hear yours is built. Yes - it was only available post being assigned to its ship, which was Poseidon Leader in my case.

im sure it’s indoors. I’m pretty certain all the GT63 are sent in an enclosed shipment. Probably it’s own container.

Are you on the east coast? You might get your car before me as well, I’m thinking best case 6 weeks once my car actually gets on a ship….

My dealership just updated me that my car will be delivered next week. It arrived at the Brunswick VPC on the 16th and put on an enclosed trailer on the 20th. I must have gotten extremely lucky to have a quick and smooth process there.
I asked them why some were getting held up at other VPC and they said it could be dumb luck as being the random inspection or some final touch ups are needed. They never know until they receive the car or if at all.

Separately, as far as I understand it, the big change for MY 2023 is the suspension. Is it as supple (in comfort) as MB claim?

@us_cali Thank you and Im sorry yours is still at the VPC. I really hope they get yours on a truck to you soon!
The suspension has improved since MY21. There were a few roads around me that I was dreading because of the unevenness, railroad tracks and construction but it's handled it very well. I borrowed a MY21 63, non S, for 2 weeks last year to make sure it this was the car I truly wanted and the suspension was the one downfall. It was still ok to be daily driver but I did feel every bump. The new Air Body Control suspension dampens it and in the 100 miles I've driven, I'm trusting it more & more.
Also, I did get it at MSRP, no mark up at all.

Did you get the 115V and the 3-zone with your rear seat package?

@Eaton Thank you!
@W205C43PFL We had to request to eliminate the two-tone steering wheel. Usually from 10-2 on the steering wheel, it's black.

I'm not 100% sure what the build code was. I asked them to request it but wasn't sure I was getting it until it came in. I have seen that all of the MANUFAKTUR Signature Bengal Red/Black Nappa Leather 63 non S have the black in the steering wheel and the 63S has the full red steering wheel.

I know youre getting bombarded with questions.
I did want to know if they were able to implement wireless apple CarPlay? or do you stilll have to have it on the charger, have you gotten to try it out? @kavas8

I havent checked yet. I dropped it off to get a full body Kavaca matte PPF today and some tint. They're hoping to have it completed by Thursday/Friday. Once I get it back, I'll check and let you know.
