Downpipe suggestions
Hey guys,
Ive been searching the thread for Catless downpipe suggestions and I couldn’t find any. Im looking for Catless downpipes on my GT63s, and I also have some questions if someone could please answer!!!
1. I am warrantied through Mercedes. If I throw in a downpipe, do I void my warrant? (Anyone had personal experiences?)
2. How do I make the check engine light go away from the downpipe without tune? Does renntech solve this?
3. I want to have a louder car on startup and in general, should I go full exhaust system? If so what exhaust system?
I appreciate anyone that responds, this Forum has some real life savers!

I have the same car and am waiting for the RSE (Ref Star Exhaust) downpipes to come in. From all my research? And talking to experts in the industry, these seem to be the most recommended.
you have several options from RSE. Catless, 400cpsi and a 200cpsi option,, with the later two not needing to worry about an additional ECU tune, I believe, as a CEL won’t come on? But I’m not 100% on this.
im going straight catless, as I am building out my GT63S completely.
You want to get the performance heat shielding for it as well.
