gear shifts and noise

New to me 2022 AMG GT 53 (about 5/6 months) when downshifting from 4 as I approach lights etc, the downshift is jerky and the car surges forward as it downshifts from 3-2-1. Also, at highwayh speeds it sounds like a window is open. Took it to dealer who said it's all normal for these cars and they confirmed with another on the lot. I know I came from an S-class so maybe i was expecting too much? Pls let me know if you have these issues.

It can be improved, ask your dealership to update the TCU's software and perform a "forced adaptation", read more on it here: https://mbworld.org/forums/s-class-w...ml#post8079553

The thread is based on a W222 but might be applicable to your vehicle as most if not all MB transmissions works the same way in terms of how the software logic is and jerking transmission is common across MB's transmission due to its software tuning. This is ignoring the actual differences like MCT, TCT, DCT.
