Winter Storage for E-Performance Models

Hey everyone. Since I live in Canada my GT63SE4D will be stored in the garage over winter. I’m going to have a battery tender maintaining the 12 volt battery, but I’m wondering about the main battery pack.
What’s the best level to keep the 13 kWh performance battery at? I know lithium ion batteries don’t like to be fully discharged or fully charged most of the time. I was thinking I would keep the performance battery at 75% over our 6 months of nasty cold and road salt.

Any thoughts or suggestions?

Thank you!

Generally with EV's you just don't want to leave it at 100% SOC for long periods of time. Your target of 75 should be good if not a less, say 50%.

50% ok interesting, Thanks.
Does anyone have the Mercedes wall box charger? I know it’s overkill for my application, but does it allow to set a charge level?
What I’m going to have to do when it’s storage time is drive around in circles, in my driveway, in EV mode, until I reach 50%
If there’s an option with better control I’d take it. Then I could “exercise“ the battery during the winter. Set the charging max to 10%, run the heater on the car till the battery drains to that point, then set the level back up to 50%..all remotely.
That would be the ideal setup.

On full EVs, the high voltage battery charges the 12V battery I am not sure if E Performance models does the same, but EQS: https://mbworld.org/forums/eqs/86796...e-battery.html

Other than that basic storage things you should know already including but not limited to fuel stabilizer, block exhaust outlets(rodents building nest), OPCF16, inflate tires (although some say it helps some say it makes flat spotting worse so ymmv), full tank to prevent condensation.consider oil change leaving fresh engine oil in. Etc. etc.
