After installing the alternator, I drove for 3 miles and my MIL(not mother in law) came off. So now there are no errors.
Why would you get your ECU flashed? Is MB of Portland installing a performance on your car? Couldn't hurt I guess. It's not like you can get a warranty on your car anyway, so you don't have to worry about voiding anything.
I wouldn't go betting the farm that you don't have any errors on your car just because the check engine light turned off. You may have a bunch of them that the CEL isn't telling you about. You need a full scan by the dealer. I guess we'll see if Good Friday is good to you.
Vlad will get the back end fixed so I can replace the bumper.
Tomorrow is a big day! I'll first buy a trip permit, then go to Vlads(who turns out lives on my street) and get an estimate/fix date. Then get my ECU flashed by MB of Portland.

After that I'm buying Pentosin tranny oil and filter kit + Differential Oil.
What exactly are you trying to accomplish by having the dealer "flash" your ecu?

Could the alternator be the reason why my fifth and sixth cylinder were misfiring and my timing chain was full retard? That's what codes I pulled from my obd2 scanner.
They came on only after the car originally noticed that the alternator was bad. But now they aren't showing, does this mean the car no longer see an issue?
DO NOT touch the flash / ecu, DO NOT touch the tranny, until everything else is fixed.
Seriously, why touch anything that could turn into another problem?
Why would that be a problem? It's simple(Jack) maintenance. You think the tranny will be fine driving around on fluids that sat stagnant for four months?
I did an unorthodox coolant change yesterday. Didn't put a clip back on a coolant pipe correctly, so on my way to my fathers house a 1\4 mile away it began to spill out. Just I was driving into the driveway my coolant low light came on. But my temp was still steady. I immediately turned if the car and refilled it with coolant.

I ment a scan, not a flash. I doubt there are errors that are not showing up.

Nah, I still have a wood grain steering wheel to install, aswell as some other things waiting in the garage.
I called the Paintless dent repair guy. He's coming by today to give me an estimate.
This won't sink in, but, again, the pull has to happen first. Whatever remains of the quarter panel creases is what the PDR guy needs to estimate. Personally I think the post pull damage will be outside the scope of PDR, but in any event get the PDR estimate after the pull.
Also, don't work that rear panel lip back yourself. You risk causing additional damage that may make that panel unrepairable.

Don't be so assumptious.
Your right about the Rack>PDR. I called the PDR back and canceled the estimate.
I could work the lip back myself(I've got the proper sledge hammer), but it won't be as good as the rack guy.
Getting a trip permit now then going to Portland for the Rack estimate.

This story keeps getting better and better. And by that I mean more f'ed up. A CEL and your scanner will only give you a very small snapshot of the problems with your car. Your car needs to be scanned with STAR as that will pick up new and stored codes that your OBD2 scanner will not be able to see. Your wreck definitely has more codes.
But you should definitely keep ignoring the good and practical advice of the knowledgeable people of this board and continue with your brainless path of resolving the issues on your own without the proper diagnostic equipment on one of the most technologically advanced cars of its era. Call that paintless dent repair guy back and get him back out there today. Maybe you will have your car looking and running as good as new by the end of today.

My presumption that you were going to attempt to get the "lip" lined up yourself was based on you asking another member for pics of that lip on his car for comparison. Or are you just really, really into trunks?
And you already got a rack estimate like twenty pages back. It doesn't need an estimate, just needs to be racked and pulled.

it cannot just be racked and pulled. The two pieces of the lip are aluminum. So they have to be replaced. It's $600+$350 for the two pieces.
The rear has to be pulled regardless. The rear panel may come back enough to hammer and dolly back into shape. Replacing that panel will be labor intensive. Aluminum can't be welded to steel (the inner trunk and quarters are steel) so they're glued together at the factory. Aluminum also can't be worked broadly with heat like steel. It has to heated and worked in very small sections. See if they can salvage that panel, because replacement is an ordeal.

Damn...You sound like a frustrated daddy drilling his stubborn son..lol
Vlad said he may be able to salvage the rear lip, but like you said, either way, it will be labor intensive.
Yeah my guy showed me a C in his shop with a similar downward rear hit. Since the panel is covered with trunk liner and trim it doesn't have to be cosmetically perfect itself, just perfectly aligned so the trunk will close. They were able to massage the panel back into shape after the pull.

If any of my kids were that dense, I probably would have already disowned them. I think I'm going to disown the OP and refrain from any future advice as he only cares about listening to people who encourage his stupidity and bad ideas. I've read some of his posts in other people's threads and I can tell that he has very little knowledge about these cars based on what he says. Sometimes I get the feeling that he's just trying to get his post count up as high as possible. Not sure why anybody would do that. But I digress.
I will now just watch this thread for my own personal amusement and hope and pray that the OP doesn't blow himself up or lose his job due to the ridiculous amount of time and resources he's dedicating to this project.
Kind of getting to sound like a personal attack.
JMHO.

The kid's making progress. I dare say he's having fun. Got a whole gang of people to communicate with that share a similar interest. I think he's winning, all-In. Certainly having more fun than those trying to convince him how FUBAR this all is.
Good on you OP.
Maybe time for everybody to learn to stop worrying and love the bomb. Joy all around.
