The Best of Mercedes & AMG
Thanks. I think I read a post from you regarding the pull of the front shocks to align with the w220 lower control arms. In fact I was going to go this route and I had already purchased a set on sale on AutohausAZ. However, I just had a second driving opinion from a friend with a W210 E55 AMG who also knew my car when it had ABC. He drives way harder than I do and he seems to think Sways aren't needed ... at least not yet. I will hold off for now.
I will pose the question to Yellow-Speed support to confirm - not sure if they will have an answer for this one though.
Thanks again.

I don't know if anyone has. I keep asking on the forums and never quite get an answer. Here's what I do know about the options:
1. Strutmasters cancellation unit is available. Question is what does cancellation do - does the ABC warning go away completely (no lights, white or red)? If not, what remains after the cancellation module is installed? If it clears then this is the way to go. (can anyone tell us what happens with this option?)
2. Pull ABC fuses F9 and F46 - leaves you with the White ABC warning. However, you can scroll through the dash. Question is can you scroll messages with the key in ignition and car off AND/OR when the car is started? Or do you have to clear the white msg with the Reset Button? (can anyone tell us what happens with this option?)
3. Coded Out ABC - My dealer coded out my ABC (they may have just done option 4 for me). I went from the Red ABC message to the White ABC message. I can scroll with key in the ignition and car off. When the car is started I cannot scroll unless I clear the message with the Reset button.. ABC message is "Display Defective ABC visit workshop". (from me)
4. Pull the CanBus Connector on the ABC Module. There are only 3 connectors going to it. Its the middle one with only 2 wires going into it. Just pull it out. You'll get the display defective message but you can clear it using the dash reset button. (from Peter)
C'mon folks... chime in now... especially the strustmasters folks and anyone with a successful remove of the ABC msg.
What are the specs on your wheels, current height and settings so far? Where are you located and road conditions? Any rubbing?
An alignment helps, but remember it will settle a tad. So hold off for at least 200 miles but drive it frequently.
I had my last adjustments on height Yesterday and will complete my second alignment tomorrow. I am now testing different settings on front and rear to get everything nice.
Let us know how you get on. And, send pics.
