Aloha! I sold da R63 last year and jus recently picked up a black W211 E63 wagon. Still have my CLK and BMW E39 wagon. Daily drive a Prius and weekend got a ML63. Definitely long time since i've seen you. Your W211 looks super clean!
Thanks bro. I think the last time we seen each other was at the Weistec meet. At the time, I was still rocking my black Forgestars.
I swore the W211 section had a "Spotted Thread" somewhere.
Anyways... saw a black W211 E63 on the freeway in Huntington Beach with what i think was an Eisenmann exhaust setup. Sounded nice.
I don't recall if I've seen the car on the forum, but it was modded.
I was in the wife's Audi and the driver saw me snap a picture of his car at the exit. LMAO. Probably thought I was a weirdo.
Alright, I got to the point where I couldn't disagree (or stand to look at it anymore). I dropped it a little and went and got it aligned. About an inch in the front. Dialed out most of the toe and installed the crash bolts. They were able to get the camber down to 2.1. Its a lot but I am not worried about camber as much as toe which was down to about .8 in vs over 2+ where I have a feeling it was.
You'll be worrying about that front camber when you start eating through tires.
To some extent. Toe eats tires more than camber does. I would say I should get uneven wear, but not "eat" through them with a proper alignment. I think most people lower but don't dial out the toe to compensate.
Your car looks very nice! Im from the Bay and I never seen it around.
Where did you get your alignment?
