The blown engine one? good score! If it was closer i'd had bought it for sure
That's the one. He ignored my calls for like a week. I was shocked when he finally answered. Compression test suggests engine is healthy! 155 on all 8. There is a problem for sure but I'm 90 percent sure it doesn't need a motor.
Interested in hearing what the issue is. My calls too were ignored, and thought about just showing up with cash and a trailer. Did the car get wet or something? look forward to your progress and congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After some searching and deliberation we decided the ecu was cooked ( despite the rarity of this) i had purchased a running parts car at auction because it had what i guessed to be 3k in aftermarket parts (i spoke to owner and learned it was MUCH more)..anyway. since we have a known good runner, we swapped the wagon ecu, key, steering lock and ignition into the wreck. the car ran exactly like the poorly running wagon, missing, dumping fuel at 2 injectors. So we were excited that we were right. It didnt last long. we put the same components from the wreck into the wagon. It started up, purred like a kitten, was burning off all the sh** in the cats, we decided it was time for a test drive. as soon as we started moving it went to ****. started missing, started dumping fuel into the cylinders. it was heart breaking. I removed ecu that WAS good earlier that day, opened it up, and identified a clearly cooked chip.
I have another ecu set on the way and will begin testing every circuit that is connected to the ecu this week. im close and far all at once.
but it sure as sh++ doest have bent rods.
ill post this in my wagon thread, if you want to keep up with it.

Thanks! I'm really enjoying the stock look but with that aggressive offset.

its not my thing but its not that bad either . you should do some more mod then it will flow better... maybe star lower and a lip ?
I would do the light smoke where the yellow is looks more clean. yellow always reminds me of Japanese.
I would also put the oem side badge back ...looks more expensive hhaha... anyways congratz on your e55 .beautiful color !

Thanks man. I'd like them on there, but I bought the car debadged and at $68 for each one I dont think it will be happening any time soon haha. As for the lip I'm not sure if I want to go with the e63 bumper yet so I'm going to hold off on that, and I'll do the lowering when I get some new wheels eventually.
