To OP. I have been following the EC issues and I must say I'm glad to didn't even consider EC. With some people defending EC and a posted bad experience working with EC, how does one find that good business practice. I wish you the best with your E63 and can get it up and running sooner than later.

I'm not defending EC but if you think this hasn't or doesn't happen with every other vendor you're crazy!
I'm new to AMG, but not to this forum. From what I have read on MB forums, bad products from tuners does happen however for EC to publicly ridicule a customer on another thread is bad for business. To make it worse is the fact I think this is more of a customer service issues that was handle the opposite what I would expect if something went wrong.
I believe the OP waited quite sometime before posting his experience with EC and I just understand if I paid for a product and the product is bad of no fault to me will need to wait 4+ months to correct the problem and have my car down for equal amount of time does not give a whole lot of credibility to the tuner. Someone is going to have to pay for insurance, registry and month payment when the car is undrivable due to specific part that was bad.
I hope you get it sorted out quickly OP.

OP - I wish you best of luck in your quest to get this all solved. As a new E550 owner (actually a new MB owner overall) debating on how I should modify my car, these threads are helpful because, no matter who is right or wrong, it can be indicative of how vendors treat their customers in tough situations, like this one. I am still very undecided on who I will invest my money with, but, I'll watch this one to see how this ends.

Just my 5 cents , after I broke my trans on second launch at the drag strip I went with weistec bulletproof trans , I can tell for sure , it is working . Pretty much back to back 100F weather , 3000DA , but it holds up

Sorry OP, I don't mean to hijack the thread.
Just curious, how are you launching the car? Is the car faster with the new bulletproof tranny?
I thought quicker shifts would make the car go slightly faster.
that would be valve body upgrade for quicker shifts and he already had that (from what i remember) before he broke the stock tranny so the quicker shifts would of already been there in his previous runs
He finaly receive my damage turbos and im waiting the other turbo now
Michael - We cannot ship the replacement turbos until the damaged ones arrive. They arrived today...as you know.
I have talked to VAG Motorsport today and will be shipping the replacement turbos back to Alexandre Coallier @ VAG directly before Friday. I will send both you and him tracking numbers.
We will take some pictures of the turbos before they leave this time and I asked VAG to do the same when they arrive. I will send those pictures to you as well sir.
We are sorry for the damaged turbos and are working with DHL on the claim. We understand the frustration this has caused you and we truly appreciate your patience while we fix the issues.
