was up guys I need your opinion on this is one couldn't find a straight answer. it's my first performance mod I'm considering for my 12 c300 4 matic. I've been doing some serious thinking if I should perform the Xpipe delete with dual muffler tips or do the full dual exhaust system swap. my only concern is which one would give it better sound/ performance and won't effect my engine in the long run. ( my engine is more important then anything else) if you've done one of the other please let me know how it workout for you.
I would honestly go with a Xpipe and Muffler delete (thats what I did) in your case. I've looked at a few exhausts systems and just didn't seem worth it. I've video of muffler delete and x-pipe on my youtube channel (in sig). It gives a slight performance boost.
I would do the x pipe in place of the resonators first and then if you really want louder, then go with muffler deletes as well. I'm getting cut outs installed this week so I'll make a thread and link a video. I currently have an x pipe in place of the resonator with stock mufflers.
I was thinking the same being my first MB C300 2013 sport I review a lot of forums and decided too Mod heres my list. Xpipe delete 2cat rear diffuser non-cf and AMG quad tips hope this helped.
Also remember everything you do with exhaust has a different sound I did only xpipe sound was not what I wanted then delete 2 cat and that was loud enough for me. When I installed the Quad tips it actually gave it a deeper sound which was what I was looking for.
thanks for the info guys im looking into the xpipe and muffler delete with quad tips.. any suggestions on where to buy i seen a few on ebay
For the x-pipe, amazon has the magnaflow for $100 and the lawson is currently $25, both are 2.25". Most get the magnaflow but the lawson still offers the same function for the 1/4 of the price. As for muffler deletes you can get the piping from the exhaust shop or get 409 or 304 stainless steel 2.25" piping.

Just did the Magnaflow Xpipe and muffler delete for AMG tips. Sounds great (it is loud so be prepared), but it will worth every penny. Parts $350 Labor $450.
That reaaaaaally expensive for labor. My x-pipes, muffler delete and amg tips only cost $260 for install and that's from someone living in San Francisco.
